MY NAME IS EDGAR GALLARDO

I am a Group Creative Director, designer, Army veteran, husband, and father of three based in the New York area.

I have spent more than 16 years building brands, creating campaigns, and leading creative teams across sports, entertainment, technology, wellness, and hospitality. Most recently, I spent nearly eight years at FanDuel, where I helped grow the in-house creative organization from 7 to 65 people. I led work across Sportsbook, Casino, Fantasy Sports, Racing, Responsible Gaming, partnerships, product launches, social, experiential, and performance marketing.

My experience moves between creative vision and execution. I can help define a brand platform, lead an integrated campaign, build a design system, direct a film or live experience, and create the teams and processes needed to deliver the work at scale. I have partnered with agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, Mischief, BBH, Arts & Letters, and Orchard while managing approximately $50 million in annual production investment.

Before FanDuel, I created work for ESPN across the NBA, college football, fantasy sports, and major live experiences. I also led creative for health and wellness brands including PERFORMIX, where I designed the complete brand experience for PERFORMIX HOUSE. Earlier in my career, I worked in Las Vegas hospitality and designed merchandise for some of the biggest names in music.

My leadership style has also been shaped by ten years as an officer in the Army National Guard. That experience taught me how to build trust, make decisions, develop people, and stay steady when the path forward is not immediately clear.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife and three kids. I love sports, music, concerts, apparel design, and creating personal projects that give me an excuse to make something new.

I am currently exploring senior creative leadership opportunities in the New York area or remote. I am also available for select freelance and consulting projects across creative strategy, brand direction, campaign development, art direction, design, experiential, and team building.
